Daytona Beach (FL) DME Academy 2024 guard Ines Goryanova has committed to Baylor Women’s Basketball. She becomes commit No. 2 in the Bears 2024 class as she joins forward Kayla Nelms.

The 5-foot-8 guard prospect is the No. 71 overall prospect in the 2024 class. Baylor now has two top 100 prospects in the 2024 class.

Goryanova chose Baylor over offers from Temple, Xavier, Marquette, Penn State, Auburn, Cal, Louisville, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and West Virginia.

Solid pick up. Really nice mechanics on her 3 ball. Plays decent defense - really quick hands

She will be an ideal fit for the kind of basketball that Coach Collen is installing at Baylor.

I hope that translates into baskets at Baylor. It hasn't been everyone, but we have had a lot of players who were advertised as great 3-point shooters before they got here. We have had transfers that were great at the 3-ball at their prior school. Then, and once again not all, but a great number that when they get here their 3-ball can't hit the ocean.....and especially when the game is really on the line. I know everyone cannot be Taylor Robinson, but could we have more that are at least in her league? Perhaps she or someone else that will be coming in will fill that role.

As usual, Blackie, you draw on the program's history to make a salient point. I like this recruit's chances to be a force from the outside, but with the quickness and skill set to penetrate to the rim and score with either hand. I think that she plays hard on defense, and she will learn to play it at the P5 level because she seems to have a lot of competitive fire. I really like this player a lot.
