Defending TCU — Baylor Needs Turnovers

After riding the high of a national championship season last year, TCU has had an incredibly disappointing season. They’re 4-6, and if Baylor manages a win this weekend they’ll both be sitting at 4 wins.

This is a somewhat difficult preview for me to write because, well, I hate TCU. I’d rather not glass-half-full their season; I’d love to just say they’re trash.

No offense to Travis, who I'm sure does a good job with these, but does anyone still care about Xs or Os at this point?

When you have a truly awful team that has already failed to meet every reasonable goal and expectation for this season, is there really any interest in reading about schematic keys to victory the final two weeks?

Just get this **** over with already.

When the players and coaches check out, the fans typically follow.

TCU will slaughter us.

All we can do is brace for impact.
That which does not kill me, will try again and get nastier

I've already moved onto basketball season. I suggest everyone else do the same.

Good teams force turnovers.

Bad teams give them up.

The turnover battle has a lot to do with showing up in the right place at the right time with the right attitude/preparation.

If you're ahead and attacking, you'll win the turnover battle.

If you're on your heels and reacting, you'll lose the turnover battle.

In the aggregate... there are of course outliers. But mainly you win the turnover battle by being the better team.

Best we can hope for is it to get rained out but looks like the only chance of rain is Sunday , as of now
