as a born Bear with 65+ years of watching I do not agree. This past season was among the worst. Dave had every advantage and yet refused to make obvious changes. The Woke policies continued to lead us from championship to the bottom..we will be forecast for the bottom in 24

OK, I've seen enough of throwing out this "woke" term on the football board. If you are going to make that last statement in your post you need to list exactly what these policies are within the football program itself. There is too much of this generalized cute terms that have no specific meaning in and of itself. I would like to understand the specifics. I might agree with them, but I have no idea of what is involved. Once again, list them as those specific to the football program or just drop the reference.

Dave ,Linda and Mack came out with the Woke NIL program which paid all the players the same amount. That is not how NIL works. It is pay for performance. We had a legacy Dad refer to how ridiculous the Baylor NIL was. His son did not come to Baylor. Linda has spoken about how there needs to be more fairness. Dave had problems with Roberts being to hard. Roberts left and the defense got worse. Baylor football got softer.

Supposedly the football program was hungry last season, too.

Since the day it was announced Aranda was staying the trajectory of the program changed. Which surprised me frankly. We have made really good hires for the staff. All the players to hit the portal that many of y'all said would happen, have absolutely not happened thus far, in fact the opposite has occurred. Many players who have been recruited by other programs have announced their continued commitment to our program. The hires thus far are the quality that a brand new HC would make.

It appears we have turned it around on NIL. As I have been saying for months now, that looks to have been critical which actually was just common sense it would be.

We will see what further develops here.
