Commit Highlights: Dodds and Bryant Ready for State Championship Matchups
Tidehaven RB Joseph Dodds beat Daingerfield 20-14 in the semifinals of the playoffs. He finished with 26 carries for 73 yards and two touchdowns to go along with two catches for 59 yards and another score. His two-yard touchdown run in overtime was the game winner.
“This season had meant a lot to me, not only because we’ve came so far but this group of guys are amazing on and off the field,” he said. “I’m very excited because not everyone gets an opportunity like this.”
Tidehaven (14-0) will take on Gunter (15-0) in the 3A Division II State Championship on Thursday.
Duncanville 2025 OL Desean Bryant beat North Crowley 52-10 in the semifinals of the playoffs. The offense totaled 463 yards.
“This season has meant a lot to me because we have a chance to go back to back and that has never happened for football,” he said. “I’m just excited to showcase my talents on the biggest stage of the season.”
Duncanville (13-1) will take on North Shore (15-0) in the 6A Division I State Championship Game on Saturday.

Oaks Christian (CA) QB Nate Bennett lost to Mission Viejo 14-39 in the second round of the playoffs. In 9 games this season, he completed 72.4% of his passes for 1,822 yards and 19 touchdowns with just three interceptions
Arlington Bowie S Kris Wokomah lost to Dallas Jesuit 7-20 in the first round of playoffs. In six games this season he totaled 27 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries.
Mansfield Summit LB Kyland Reed lost to Texas High 14-17 in the second round of playoffs. In 8 games this season, he totaled 47 tackles, 4.5 for loss, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries.
China Spring ATH Greydon Grimes lost to Anna 21-45 in the second round of playoffs. He finished with 3.5 tackles, one for loss, and a sack.
Ridge Point S Mason Dossett lost to Houston Lamar 28-31 in the second round of playoffs. He finished his season with 18 tackles, four interceptions and three pass breakups. On offense he posted 291 yards and five touchdowns on just 15 receptions.
Lumberton OLB Brock Jackson lost to Needville 28-52 in the second round of playoffs. In 11 games, he totaled 51 tackles, 22 TFL’s, seven sacks, 18 QB hurries, and four forced fumbles. He ws named District Defensive MVP for the second season in a row.
St. Joseph (MS) DE Alex Foster beat undefeated Kirk Academy 6-0 in the MAIS Class 3A State Championship Game. He finished with 68 tackles, 20 for loss, and 11 sacks. He also had seven receptions for 92 yards and a touchdown on offense.
Evangel Christian (LA) OL Tristan Santoro lost to Archbishop Shaw 13-20 in the second round of the playoffs.
The Woodlands OL Koltin Sieracki lost to Duncanville 21-49 in the third round of playoffs.
Comanche CB Kyler Beaty lost to Gunter 0-45 in the third round of playoffs.
Lorena WR Jadon Porter lost to Franklin 27-49 in the fourth round of playoffs. In just eight games, he totaled 455 yards and four touchdowns on just 27 receptions. He also had seven carries for 58 yards and a touchdown. On defense he had 19 tackles, two for loss, and two interceptions with one going for a touchdown.
Liberty Hill K Connor Hawkins lost to Port Neches Grove 42-35 in the semifinals of the playoffs. He finished 68-for-69 on extra points and 7-for-9 on field goals with a long of 45 yards. He has 42 touchbacks on 97 kickoffs and 23 punts for 667 total yards and three downed inside the 20.
Northeast Mississippi C.C. JUCO linebacker Keaton Thomas finished the season 6-3. He totaled 107 tackles, 11 for loss, and 1.5 sacks, and two interceptions.
Columbus 2025 QB Adam Schobel lost to Lorena 21-42 in the third round of the playoffs. He finished his season with 2,405 passing yards and 30 touchdowns while completing 68% of his passes and only throwing four interceptions.
Carthage 2025 OL Kash Courtney lost to Gilmer 44-47 in the fourth round of the playoffs.
