OL, Maurice Porter (6-6, 310) | Missouri City (TX) Marshall

— Porter is the final and highest rated offensive lineman on the 30 for 30 list, but he has the most to prove of the ones listed. He has yet to start a game at the D1 level, but he did play in all 13 games as a junior after redshirting in 2015.

— The listed starter at left tackle, Rhule announced on Tuesday morning during his press conference that he Porter would be suspended the first half of the season opener against Liberty for a violation of team rules. No details were disclosed as to why Porter was being disciplined.

— After signing with Baylor out of high school, Porter landed at Navarro after he failed to qualify academically. When his offer was renewed at the junior college level, Porter responded by committing immediately and eventually signed with Baylor again in 2015.

— Porter is another piece on Baylor's offensive line, along with Patrick Lawrence, Blake Blackmar and Ishmael Wilson, that provides veteran leadership to a two-deep that lacks depth beyond the second unit. The core group will play a significant role in leading Baylor to success in 2016 on the offensive side of the ball.

— It's easy to say that Porter is the most obvious NFL talent on the offensive side of the ball because of his size, natural athletic ability, and position on the line, but the fact that he has yet to start a game means he has one year to prove a lot. If he has a season that eventually places him in the NFL draft, Baylor's offense shouldn't have any trouble protecting Anu Solomon's blindside.

Previous: #5 Blake Blackmar
