Nice timeout by Drew. Lets get a couple more points befor half

How was that not a foul on Nunn?

Are the refs trying to bail out WVU because they are terrible this year?

Disappointed with that. Why design something to go to one of our lower percentage 3 point shooter? Nunn fouled but no call.

Jonathan won't have any significant registered stats other than that 1 foul and 1 rebound, but that was HUGE that he was able to not only nullify Edwards but he played almost 5 solid minutes that kept Josh O off the court and from picking up a 3rd in the 1st half like Missi.

Not every important play shows up in a boxscore.

He earned more minutes in second half

Really wish Walter would figure it out and stop missing these wide open looks from 3 like that shot at the end of the half. Overall, nice half of bball against somebody we should beat - on the road or not.

Yep. And the way that whistle keeps blowing, we're gonna need it!!!!

I actually don't mind Morgantown. But this arena is a giant turd. And I'm not one to judge arenas

Good first half overall. We're playing well defensively and getting solid production from our secondary and tertiary guys.

We'll have to keep an eye on the foul situation, especially with the post players. But both Lohner and Jon gave us solid minutes and can spell Missi and Josh if need be.

Ojianwuna has been awesome today, though. That was the best half of basketball he's ever played in a Baylor uniform IMO.

Do you have Baylor gear on? Any friendly abuse?

It seems to me that the Mountaineers don't have much of a crowd. That could be to our advantage, although it's negated by the refs blowing the whistle so often.

I don't even think you need an IMO on that sentence. I think it's a fact!!!!!

IMO they haven't been terrible but definitely called neatly every foul against us and let WV get away with some.

The one that bugs me is they called one on Missi off the ball when he was simply hand fighting with the WV player when they were jockeying for position. About 10 seconds later he got his 3rd.

Josh has had some other good halves/games this year. But this was his most complete contribution.

He's still raw and has his ups and downs, but he's improved dramatically. He's going to be a really good player the next two years IMO.

I can't decide who I despise more…WV or tech? A real tossup.

He may make a young mistake or two, but since conference play started in particular you can almost see it starting to all come together for him. Ceiling just keeps getting higher with him.

If you're talking about the fans, I'd probably agree. They're the two trashiest fan bases in the league. But I don't generally mind their coaches or players. They usually field pretty likeable (albeit limited) blue collar squads.

In the first half Walter has made 2 very difficult running shots but missed a lot of wide open 3s.

He's got a lot of game and has a great pull up and floater. If the 3 isn't dropping he needs to go more to that other stuff.

He's not a big usage guy, but he's quietly put together an elite field goal percentage. And his defensive positioning is night and day from what it was just two or three months ago.

It's definitely starting to click for him.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I really feel Love would have feasted in this game. WVU has struggled all year on D with players who can slash to the basket and that is obviously one of Langston's strengths.

I honestly think his injury is going to end up being a good thing for this team -- assuming he comes back fully healthy, of course. It's forced several other players (including deep bench role guys like Little and Lohner) to up their game ... and all have responded positively.

We had lost some of our early-season depth during the first half of league play. It would appear we're building some of it back up now.

Love is definitely one of our better drive and scorers

I think I saw him in sweats on the sideline.

I think it may be time for him to focus more on his mid-range game and start shooting fewer 3s. His slump has lasted long enough now that it may not just be a slump. The college season isn't always long enough to shoot yourself out of a slump, and we need him to be more efficient offensively.

Yep. I also think it's helped push Nunn to get out of that funk he went through by making it imperative that he perform well for us to do well as a team.

Nunn was one of the guys I was talking about. I should have mentioned him by name. He's been great the last three or four weeks.

Jayden Nunn!!!!!!

The dude is doing a Jalen Bridges style 180 compared to the way he was playing before the last several games.
