It was for most of the game.

Then we threw it away at the end

We've missed 4 layups in last 2 mins
Bella made 3 in the 1st, ended up 3 of 10; the team was 8 of 30 (26.7%)

We have long scoring droughts like the men did earlier. Painful.

Epic choke.

1-19 FG to end the game. Low IQ fouling.

Missed out last 9 shots after a 6 point lead with 3:34 to go. IowaSt closed on a 12-1 run.

But Richard Justice can tell us again how successfully we have rebuilt the program.

Nicki is going to have this program back where it was when I went to Baylor: 100 people in the crowd and utterly irrelevant.

But Tech seems to have done the same with their program.
You are completely clueless. But if that is what you want, I guess that is your wish.

We need negative stars.

The last 4 minutes was extremely bad basketball; missing layups, bad shots, you name it.

Crouch crouch and more crouch. This team just not want to win

No, they didn't want to win. Laying it all out on the floor. Pressing like crazy. Battling under the boards against the elephant inside. But no, they didn't want to win. B.S.

We didn't rebuild it. We have kept it afloat to buy time, the time it takes every team who loses a HOF coach to get back where they were. Go look at the record of those teams.

Another fantastic finish in the tourney by CNC.

3 years of fantastic results. Always the players issues.

1 constant and it isn't the players.

I'm sure there will be excuses made by Coach and for Coach. Yet, the results are the same.

Again who coaches and recruited every single player outside Sarah?

Look at the results in the league. And the NCAA tourney. How is even debatable. CNC results are facts.

OK. It is easy to throw arrows. What would you do? You need to match your enthusiasm to throw arrows to telling us specifically names and actions to take.

We had the shots. We had missed bunnies. We had open shots from senior players (2's and 3's). But somehow that is the coach's fault for the misses. Have you ever coached? I have. You put them in position, which we were, but at some point players have to make plays. Sometimes they don't. Even the great Clark missed her first 11 3's yesterday. It happens.

Recruit players that match the style she wants to play.
If you can't recruit bigs, don't recruit smalls that play In The big positions

If you let players chuck threes, recruit players that are shooters.

CNC doesn't match style to players.

This is a coaching issue. CNC is a problem. 3 years same exact issues. Change players, but style still the issue. How about change style.

One thing that mulkey-ers seem to forget. During our 14 year reign, every team was deplorable. Women's basketball has changed in the last 10 years, heck. Even 5 years. No team, men's or women's, will have a run like Kansas for the men or Baylor for the women. They just won't. Too much young coach talent to disperse the players. It used to only be Tennessee, Baylor, Stanford, ND and uconn. Now, you got NC State, VT, Oregon state, South Carolina, et al. Should we be in the conversation every year, yes. But these anti-colleners are just blinded and clueless to the changing game. Was this ISU game frustrating? Yes. Does she need to be fired over this? No. We lack post players, which is a huge part of the game. Collen is a great coach and better fit than mulkey was in her later years. Either you support the bears or you don't. I choose the Bears! Let's go, coach Collen!

Yes I have coached 30 years in women's and girls hoops. Of course not at CNCs level.

But, if anybody thinks CNC is doing a good job have extremely low expectations.

Recruit shooters. Recruit bigs. Recruit defenders. Recruit long. What's her direction? Pick a diction or have a style that matches. 5/6 in the Big 12 is what she's delivering.

Keep the support and expectations of early exits and 5/6 in league. Great direction

Sadly, the result today was not surprising. Baylor could have pulled away from Iowa State at 4 different points in the game today. But alas they didn't and ultimately lost in a common style. Don't be confused or get distracted by those who want to make weak, uneducated excuses about extraneous things. Coaching lost this game. It's been the common denominator to average team performance all year.

Sorority sister ball simply won't win at the highest levels.

Very well put. In game coaching and adjustments have been common issues her entire time here.

I think CNC can get it done. I just don't understand her roster decisions/structure and then not game-planning to its strengths.

I love BU women's BB. However for us to become dominant again we must get some size, and have someone that is a deadly shooter at the mid range level. If you go and look at our last championship we had all of it. Post size and good mid range.

Let's see what happens in the Tournament.

So you think she is too stupid to figure this out? Please. What you want and what you can get are miles apart in practice.

What she is delivering is no worse than what was delivered at Tennessee, Texas, and ND after they lost their HOF coach, just to point out a few. You look at each one. All of them took a dive when the HOF coach left. How could you expect a team not to take such a dive? The thing that drew high-level recruits to the school is no longer there. I'd say the fan expectations are what is out of whack here because some do not want to look objectively at the problems that departure causes and the difficulty that is encountered in order to build it back up. It can be built back up but historically no school that has lost such a coach has figured out how to do it quickly.

It is not about expectations. It is about not letting hopes and wishes become expectations that history says are not realistic. There was never any reason Baylor should buck the trend. It is even harder now because of parity. The team we put on the floor today probably would have had no problem getting to the finals in the Big XII of 5 years ago.

Sorry, I just don't see the doom and gloom that you like to see.

hey, heres a novel idea, maybe she recruits the wrong players...shes recruited the "gang that can't shoot straight"

The lack of size in the middle affects everything on both ends of the floor. We do have the 6'4" and 6'7" in the wings for next year, but Lety needs development. She showed a few good signs of late, but has not been ready, likely because of her propensity to foul. Since Kyla redshirted we don't know how she is doing. I suspect CNC would be the first to say that an experienced big would be the first priority this off-season, most likely from the portal. But you can only get from what is available.

Today we saw shots missed that the same players have hit over and over whether it is a drive to the basket or an open 3 or an open mid-range 2. We only needed a couple of those to fall and the game outcome would have become different. Shooting 12% in the 4th quarter is not going to win you many games.
