Baylor Basketball Center Yves Missi Declares for NBA Draft
Big 12 All-Defensive and All-Freshman team member Yves Missi declared for the NBA Draft per Jonathan Givony of ESPN.
Missi has hired an agent and will forgo his remaining collegiate eligibility.
The breakout freshman star averaged 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 23.1 minutes per game.
The native of Cameroon will hope to continue the Bears’ three-year streak of first-round draft picks, following in the footsteps of Davion Mitchell, Jeremy Sochan and Keyonte George from 2021 to 2023.
Mock drafts and projections have Missi ranked anywhere from mid-first round to early-second round.
