Baylor Soccer Announces Fall 2024 Schedule
WACO, Texas – Baylor soccer released its 2024 fall schedule on Monday, which features nine home matches and the Big 12 slate with new teams Arizona, Colorado, Arizona State and Utah.
The Bears start the season with a preseason exhibition matchup against UTSA in San Antonio on Aug. 4, before starting regular season play.
BU kicks off the regular season on the road against Mississippi State in Starkville on Aug. 15 and will then return home to face St. Bonaventure at Betty Lou Mays Field for its home opener on Aug. 18.
Following the Bears’ first home match, the team will head to Honolulu, Hawaii to face Bowling Green and Portland on Aug. 22 and 25, respectively.
Baylor will close out its August slate with a match at home against Texas A&M on Friday, Aug. 30.
The Bears start the month of September at SMU on the 5th, before heading to Iowa City to face the Iowa Hawkeyes on the 8th. Baylor will then head home for a four-match home stand, starting conference play against Oklahoma State on Sept. 12 and playing their last non-conference match against Texas State on Sept. 15.
The last two matches of the four-match home stand will feature conference matchups against Arizona on Sept. 19 and Houston on Sept. 22.
Heading on the road for one match, the Bears will face Colorado on Sept. 26, before returning home to face the TCU Horned Frogs on Sept. 29.
Baylor opens its October slate in Lubbock against Texas Tech on Oct. 4. The Bears return to Betty Lou Mays Field for matches against Arizona State and West Virginia on Oct. 10 and 13, respectively.
BU will end its regular season with three straight road matches starting on Oct. 17 at BYU and Oct. 20 at Utah. The last match will feature a trip to Ames to face Iowa State on Oct. 25.
The Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship will be back in Kansas City this season at CPKC Stadium, home of the NWSL’s Kansas City Current. Championship action will open on Oct. 30 and conclude on Nov. 9.
Single-match and season tickets will go on sale in early August, but fans can fill out a ticket interest form here. Additionally, all television stream information is still to be determined.
