Chattanooga Transfer OL Colin Truett Flips from Kansas State to Baylor
Chattanooga offensive lineman Colin Truett has commited to Baylor following his official visit on Wednesday.
The priority transfer prospect committed to Kansas State over the weekend but Dave Aranda and the staff were able to flip him almost immediately. South Carolina, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas and Virginia were also heavily recruiting him.
The 6-foot-3, 300-pound prospect is a former Freshman All-American and a two-time all-conference selection during his time at Chattanooga. He has primarily played right tackle during his career but it would be surprising to see him move inside to guard at Baylor. He will provide some much needed versatility and experience for a position group that needs to take a huge step forward.
Truett becomes the fifth offensive lineman the staff has added via the transfer portal this offseason as they look to revamp and offensive line that struggled mightily as season ago. He joins Montana State’s Omar Aigbedion, Ohio’s Kurt Danneker, Texas A&M’s Colton Thomasson, and South Carolina’s Sidney Fugar.
He has just one season of eligibility remaining.
