Shadow Creek Wide Receiver Jacorey Watson Commits to Baylor
Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek High School 2025 wide receiver Jacorey Watson has committed to Baylor over Houston, Boston College, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M among others. He becomes the third wide receiver to commit in the 2025 class, joining Ashton Jones and Chase Collier.
BAYLOR 2025 RECRUITING COMMITMENT LIST
This past season, Watson played quarterback and was injured after just five games. He totaled over 1,000 yards of total offense and 14 touchdowns in those games.
As a sophomore, he threw for 952 yards and 13 touchdowns, ran for 158 yards and four touchdowns, and caught 24 passes for 323 yards and eight touchdowns. Watson’s sophomore campaign gives the biggest sample size of his potential at wide receiver. He also caught 21 passes for 243 yards and a touchdown as a freshman.
This season, he will move to wide receiver full-time as Shadow Creek brought in a new quarterback. This should be a massive fall for Watson, and I like his size and fit as a versatile, inside/out receiver in Baylor’s offense.
The 6-foot-0, 180-pound prospect held 20 offers from Houston, Boston College, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, LSU, Michigan, Oregon, Missouri, Michigan State, and Colorado among others.
The composite four-star prospect is ranked as the No. 56 prospect in the state of Texas. His highest rating comes on Rivals where he is a 5.9-rated, four-star prospect and the No. 19 prospect in the state and No. 118 prospect in the nation.
