Baylor was one of the youngest teams in the country last season but at Big 12 Media Days it was clear that this offseason was about turning puppies into dawgs.

The 2022 and 2023 seasons have begun to run together in a negative way for the Baylor program following the Big 12 Championship season. From 2021 through Week 10 of the 2022 season, the Bears went 18-5, but since then, they have gone 3-13, including a 3-9 2023 season. The trend is certainly downward and one more bad season will mean a coaching change with yet another restart.
