Five-Star Forward Koa Peat Schedules Baylor Official Visit
Gilbert (AZ) Perry High School 2025 forward Koa Peat has scheduled an official visit to Baylor for September 27th. This will be the same weekend that Baylor football plays BYU on the 28th so expect to see Peat at McLane Stadium that day.
The back-to-back Gatorade Arizona Player of the Year averaged 20.5 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.0 steals per game as he helped lead Perry to a second-straight Open State Tournament Championship.
As a sophomore, he averaged 19.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, three assists and 1.7 blocks en route to a 30-1 record.
He also won a gold medal with the United States at the FIBA Under-17 World Cup while averaging 9.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 20.1 minutes per game.
The 6-foot-8 forward will also visit Arkansas on September 14th and Arizona on October 4th. He is still hoping to schedule official visits to Duke and Arizona State. He already paid an official visit to Houston in June, along with official visits to Michigan, North Carolina and Texas last fall.
Peat is a consensus five-star prospect across all national recruiting sites and is a top-five overall prospect in the 2025 class per composite rankings.
