You're getting no argument from me regarding Aranda. I literally started a thread after the Tx St game saying he needed fired. I've been on that train for over a year now

We will never know....but I was thinking there was a chance he would get pulled at the half before he made a few completions there to close Q2

I'm admittedly grasping for straws here because I would have gone to Sawyer two possessions ago. But hopefully that drive before halftime will get Finn in a little bit of a rhythm. He made some nice throws on that possession. He needs to settle down and hit receivers when they're open or let Sawyer come in and get a chance.

The D was okay, outside of terrible technique in the secondary. Showing some heart. The O line and just weak energy from the O is on Aranda. We kept a scrub staff for far too long. The talent evals were historically bad. Every mid major and higher team in Texas always stumbles across a random star skill player... except Dave in the last several years.

Doesn't look like Dave can handle this. While we're spit balling unprecedented moves (last years total revamping while retaining Dave), demote him to DC and move in Patterson at Interim HC for the year. Pipe dream but Dave would probably be relieved.
