It made no sense at all. He is doing it to be within 3 FGs. But the odds of having enough time for 3 actual scoring possessions while holding them scoreless is basically nil. The decision made no sense when factoring in probabilities. He meets with some analytics firm each week and its clear he doesn't understand it. Now he put them in a hole.

Zach Wilson was awesome in college. It's only in the NFL that he's struggled.

Yep. I'm sure it's some stupid flashcard metrics call. But it's idiotic. It burns you far more often than it helps.

But they are putting up a fight in a hostile place. They could have rolled over.

I am impressed we knocked the QB out of the game, cleanly. Good Ds do that. Hit hard, love it. Not perfect, but we are fighting.

I agree. I'm proud of the effort. Not of the execution on offense, but the effort is there.

I thought some obvious mathematical trick was right in front of my face, but I couldnt quite grab it...


Poor timing.

Xp makes it 23-13. Say we scored a field goal here. Then we score a touchdown. Now going for two gives us a chance to win. I think we'd all rather lose on a missed two point conversion that just didn't go out way as time expired. At the end of the game not the end of the third quarter. Because we could have just kicked another extra point and gone to OT. Now we can't.
