I stand by my earlier point. I'm proud of this defense. It bent in the first half, but never broke. And now it's playing shut-down football.
if we had an O line, better receivers and running backs, we'd actually be a pretty damn good team

That's fair. He's always been a steady possession receiver. But he's emerging as a playmaker this year. I love that kid. He may be my favorite player on this team.

This offense with Sawyer, Cameron, Trigg, Washington gets me excited!

I'm actually encouraged by the offensive performance tonight. We shot ourselves in the foot Guy Morriss style in the first half, but we've consistently moved the ball throughout the night. And we've been outstanding in the second half.

I'm seeing a lot of weapons on the offense and a quarterback who can get the ball to them.

The OL is not as bad as the product seen on the field. They have enough talent that with the right coaching they could be more than serviceable.

When he gets his hands on a guy he's almost always going down. He does a great job of keeping guys from falling forward also.

I was more than excited to see Kotelnicki get the Penn St job. I felt like he was responsible for a big part of KU's resurgence. Leipold has always been really good at surrounding himself with the right assistants. The hiring of Grimes came out of left field and is still a head scratcher.

Hopefully they will get our 3rd string QB some reps before this game is over. We may need him down the road if Finn's booboo doesnt heal

Air Force is solid defensively. This is legitimately encouraging.

Since we got over our case of the fumbles, we've looked like a real football team.
