It was announced by Matt Rhule on Tuesday morning during his weekly press conference that junior wide receiver Chris Platt would likely miss the remainder of the 2017 season with a knee injury.
Later in the day on Tuesday, Platt tweeted a message confirming the injury and thanking Baylor fans for their support.
Through four games in 2017, Platt caught 16 passes for 401 yards and five touchdowns, including four catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns against Duke and five catches for 93 yards against Oklahoma in his most recent outings.
In his career, Platt has caught 62 passes for 1,123 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Don't know if possible or not. I read an article today that Arkansas is looking into a medical redshirt for their junior receiver who was also lost for the season in their 4th game on Saturday.91Bear said:
I guess there's no chance for a medical redshirt...
