Baylor Softball Announces 2025 Schedule

WACO, Texas – Baylor softball released its full slate for the 2025 season, including 28 home games at Getterman Stadium, announced Tuesday afternoon by 25th-year head coach Glenn Moore.

Putting together a strong schedule, the Bears will play at least 15 games against 10 opponents from the 2024 NCAA softball tournament.

BU opens the 2025 season on the road at the Aggie Classic. The Bears will play ACU on Thursday, Feb. 6, before playing Purdue and tournament host Texas A&M on Feb. 7. The Bears will then face Utah State and Villanova on Feb. 8 to round out the Aggie Classic.

The Bears will then return home to host the Getterman Classic, which will feature Oklahoma and Hofstra. Through Feb. 14-16 BU will face Hofstra three times and reigning national champions Oklahoma twice.

Following the first two tournaments of the season Baylor will head to the Mary Nutter Classic in Palm Springs, Calif., for the second-straight season. They will start the tournament with games against Nevada and Nebraska on Feb. 20 and play Missouri on Feb. 21. The Bears will close out the Mary Nutter Classic against Arkansas and UCLA on Feb. 22.

With a break in tournament play, BU returns home to face UTSA in a midweek bout on Tuesday, Feb. 25, before getting ready to host the Baylor Invitational on Feb. 28 – March 2. The Bears will begin the Baylor Invitational with games against North Texas and California Baptist on Feb. 28, before playing Sam Houston on March 1. In the Baylor Invitational the 1 Seed vs 4 Seed and 2 Seed vs 3 Seed games will also happen on March 1. To conclude the tournament the consolation and championship games will be played on March 2.

Next up, Baylor will head to Austin to face old Big 12 conference foe, Texas, for a midweek game on March 5.

To kick off Big 12 play, the Bears will host Kansas for a three-game conference series March 7-9 at Getterman Stadium.

The Bears will then travel south to face Northwestern State on Tuesday, March 11 and Lamar on Wednesday, March 12, in non-conference matchups.

Getting conference contests going again, Baylor will showdown against Texas Tech at Getterman Stadium March 14-16 before heading on the road and facing Oklahoma State in Stillwater March 21-23.

The Bears will then begin a four-game homestand, starting with UTA on March 25 and a three-game conference series against UCF March 28-30.

Kicking off the April slate, BU will begin the month at Houston, facing the Cougars April 4-6. Baylor will return home to face ACU in a three-game nonconference series April 11-12, with a single game Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday.

Baylor will then head to Tempe, Arizona, to face Arizona State for the first time as conference opponents April 17-19, with the three-game series beginning on Thursday.

After a midweek contest at home against Texas State on April 22, the Bears will host the BYU Cougars April 24-26 in its second to last regular season conference series.

BU will head to UTA for its second game of the season against the Mustangs on April 29, to close out the month of April and the Bears’ non-conference slate.

Baylor will travel to Ames, Iowa to play Iowa State for its last regular season series May 2-4.

The Bears will not face conference opponents Utah or Arizona in the regular season.

The Big 12 tournament is set for May 7-10 in Oklahoma City. NCAA Regionals begin a week later, followed by the NCAA Super Regionals. The Women's College World Series will be May 29 – June 6 in Oklahoma City.
