It was a tepid performance. The offense somewhat sputtered for the first time in over a month while the defense handled its business against one of the nation’s worst offenses.

I don't think Sawyer struggled - he completed over 65% of his passes. First INT, a simple pump fake and it's a long TD. Second pick could have been saved if the WR made a break on the ball recognizing how far off the defender was. Our play calling in the second half was way more conservative and we were losing the battle in the trenches.

Baylor played against a dang good defense, and our defense played against a not-so-good offense.

It is still really tough to tell how the defense has progressed, though it is encouraging.

Offense seems legit.

Saturday is going to be a good test.
