Position changes behind them, three Bears highlight future of defense

Matt Rhule recently made the comment that not only were some of Baylor's young defensive players partaking in significant roles for the first time in their careers, but they were also playing new positions for the very first time in their career. It took a little bit of time to get to more in-depth explanation of a few of those, or at least for me to notice, but he identified three of those in rapid fire on Tuesday following Baylor's week off. Those three players are redshirt freshman defensive end Deonte Williams, sophomore linebacker Clay Johnston, and sophomore cornerback Blake Lynch, all three of which are playing new positions in Phil Snow's defensive scheme.
