Scott mentioned on Mosley's show that it was an anomaly. He hopes people will attend the game, after church of course.

We are 3-2 in conference with our 2 losses to two of the teams undefeated in conference play tied for first.

Feels a little like the start to our football season with early losses to the top of the conference....except we were not competitive in those losses like the football team was.

I'm still not sure what to think about this team. I don't know if we are a middle of the pack conference team...or stuck somewhere between the middle and below the top.

I agree with this completely. TCU is one of the most offensively challenged teams in the Big 12 which should be a nice respite from some of the offensive oriented teams we've played. I don't think you ever expect a blowout in a conference game but if we can't take care of business in a home game like this against TCU then I am really gonna have to adjust my expectations for the season dramatically.

Yep when we went to 16 teams last year Yourmark mentioned it.

We're getting run against decent teams though. Football was playing relatively competitive games even though they looked lost half the time.

We haven't played a good team at home yet, once they are play a few of those we should know more. I know most will disagree but this team needs to go undefeated at home, yes that includes Ku, Iowa St(not sure we play them again), Uh, Arizona.

Against my better judgment, with the proper coaching and Celestine/Love for depth, I still think this team could be decent.

We won't play Iowa State again this year unless in Kansas City. However, we do play Houston twice, closing out the season vs the Cougars in Waco. We also only play Kansas once this year, this time in Waco.

Personally, I'd rather play Kansas twice than Cincinnati and Yech twice than Arizona. However, I do welcome the chance to play Arizona again after that loss. I hope our guys can beat them by a larger margin.

We should win both comfortably at home. Home court is a massive deal in the Big 12 -- as we saw again yesterday with UCF's near upset of Houston, West Virginia handling Iowa State and Tech downing Arizona.

And we usually take care of teams like this TCU and Kansas State team.

Good because Iowa St is a terrible matchup for us and even then we beat them comfortably at home last year (before the near robbery).

Ku and Uh need to be wins at home, bottom line. We need to blow Tcu and KSU away at home.

Another home game, another Kipp Kissinger appearance. He's appeared in more BU games than Love has this season.

Looking flat early. Having a tough time penetrating their defense, and when we do, we miss the point blank shot.

Good adjustments after the under 16 timeout.

Sloppy out of the under 12 timeout. Running the shot clock down, turning the ball over, giving up lots of offensive rebounds, and missing point blank shots again.

Not the same TCU team we're used to.

They've led the nation in fast break scoring last 2 years.

Pretty sluggish start. I wouldn't have expected that after such a dud on Tuesday. But this team just doesn't seem to have a leader on it that demands a certain level of effort and execution.

And Scott Drew is never going to be an ass-chewer. But that's what this team needs right now.

Celestine has had a nice return. It would be huge if he could be a consistent 3-point threat.

Chemistry seems much better. Good ball movement better shot selection. Keep it up.
