Prior to the game, CNC said that Baylor had nothing to lose going into the game with UCLA. Respectfully, I disagree. What I witnessed was a team short on the fundamentals of basketball and thus incapable of presenting a respectable showing against a superior team.

Failing to make basic layups, failing to pass the ball using two hands, failing to communicate with each other when running basic screens is a sign that this team is either not listening to their coaches nor willing to practice the fundamentals of basketball until what is practiced becomes second nature in a game.

When Baylor basketball (men or women) fail to perform at their best, and especially when playing on national TV, their actions say to those watching that mediocrity has become acceptable when representing Baylor University.

That attitude doesn't work for me and what I am watching play out in the games does not appear to be working for Baylor WBB either.
