Auburn guard Taliah Scott has committed to head coach Nicki Collen and Baylor; she becomes the first transfer portal addition of the 2025 offseason.
Scott, a 5-foot-9 guard, averaged 20.3 points, 5.3 rebounds and two assists across three games before missing the remainder of the 2024-2025 season with a wrist injury.
As a freshman at Arkansas, Scott started 19 contests and averaged 22.1 points and 3.3 rebounds per game on 41% shooting from the floor and 30% shooting from beyond the arc. She earned SEC Freshman of the Week five times and was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team.
The Orange Park, Florida native was a McDonald’s All-American and the No. 11 prospect in the 2023 class, according to ESPN. The former five-star recruit was the Florida Girls Basketball Player of the Year in 2023 and led the country in scoring, averaging over 36 points per game.
If Scott gets a medical redshirt for 2024-2025, she will have three years of eligibility remaining. She is listed as the No. 3 player in the transfer portal, per Hoops HQ.
