Oklahoma transfer guard Duke Miles has set a tentative official visit schedule following his decommitment from Virginia a few days ago.

The official Baylor visit will likely be this Friday. According to Tobias Bass, the other visits he has lined up are to Texas A&M, Penn State and USC at the moment.

The 6-foot-2 prospect averaged 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 43% from 3-point range this past season. He played 24.6 minutes per game for the Sooners as a secondary creator to projected NBA lottery pick Jeremiah Fears.

Before his lone year with the Sooners, Miles put together a career season with High Point, where he averaged 17.5 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 36% from beyond the arc. He played 30.6 minutes per contest across 33 games.

While at High Point, he played with Jusllin Bodo Bodo, the seven-footer who has already committed to Baylor out of the transfer portal. The dynamic pick-and-roll duo could play together again in a Baylor uniform if Miles chooses the Bears.

This will be Miles’ sixth season of college basketball after stops at Troy, High Point and Oklahoma.

Baylor is looking for a point guard replacement for Robert Wright III after he elected to transfer to BYU, and Miles fits the potential profile.

I had no idea he played with Bodo Bodo at High Point. Hope we land him.

6'2" is a big point guard. Does he have the speed, agility and quickness that Ron Wright had.

Dude has actually committed to UVA since entering the transfer portal, but decommitted 4 hours later when they got another transfer.

I once heard a legend about a pg that decommitted weeks after he signed his contract and the team had signed several other players based on trying to compliment his skill set, all during that time they the other top pgs were committing elsewhere. That strikes me as a lot worse, if it was true. Give me a 4 hour decommittal any time.

I am not expecting Duke Miles to visit Baylor.

Any other pg prospects out there you can share? I liked miles' history with bono bono but it seems to me much easier to find a serviceable pg than a serviceable 5.

Also, Grayson is that Tobias Bass post saying he is scheduled to come to Baylor on April 28-29 not accurate, or are you just expecting he'll commit somewhere else before then. It's not entirely clear to me why he seems to be getting so much attention from top schools. His efficiency numbers are good but he was not a PG at OU last year and his assist/TO numbers have never been that strong, which would lead me to question whether he can really efficiently initiate the offense. Did he show he's great in the pick and roll? Defensive numbers don't seem any better than average. Why is he getting so much high level attention?

Yeah I just don't think that trip is going to happen.

Point guards are going for a lot of NIL money this cycle so he is getting a boost. He's a good player who would fit at Baylor but he's not the best option I think Baylor could get for the price.
