Oklahoma transfer guard Duke Miles has set a tentative official visit schedule following his decommitment from Virginia a few days ago.
The official Baylor visit will likely be this Friday. According to Tobias Bass, the other visits he has lined up are to Texas A&M, Penn State and USC at the moment.
The 6-foot-2 prospect averaged 9.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 43% from 3-point range this past season. He played 24.6 minutes per game for the Sooners as a secondary creator to projected NBA lottery pick Jeremiah Fears.
Before his lone year with the Sooners, Miles put together a career season with High Point, where he averaged 17.5 points, 3.6 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals while shooting 36% from beyond the arc. He played 30.6 minutes per contest across 33 games.
While at High Point, he played with Jusllin Bodo Bodo, the seven-footer who has already committed to Baylor out of the transfer portal. The dynamic pick-and-roll duo could play together again in a Baylor uniform if Miles chooses the Bears.
This will be Miles’ sixth season of college basketball after stops at Troy, High Point and Oklahoma.
Baylor is looking for a point guard replacement for Robert Wright III after he elected to transfer to BYU, and Miles fits the potential profile.
