I'm so happy to get rid of this roster. One and done players are the worst. That's why we can't get beyond the first round. I'd much rather root for a 500 team of seniors and juniors that play as a team. Just my opinion.

VJ was not the worst. Omier was not the worst. They were great and gave us their all. The roster just didn't work. But don't be so simplistic to say that VJ is what's wrong.

And we've gotten beyond the first round the last six tournaments. One of only three teams to do so. It's the second round that has tripped us up.

Yep, those 2 were spectacular. It was the supporting cast around them that let us down.

Two of they years we lost to team that made it to the NC game in UnC and the other against a Duke team that made it to the FF and frankly IMHO was the best team in the tourney, if they play Houston ten times they win 7-8 of them.
I would love us to get back to the elite 8, makes the tournament that much more fun, it's just going to really hard to compete with 20 million in NIL.

Yep, Vj and Omier are underrated here if that's possible. Once Omier cleaned up his TOs late season, he was legit one of the best forwards in the country.

Watch the Florida v Tech and Florida v Hou games, it took the national champs 20+ minutes to match physicality.

Omier was extremely dominant against both of them late season. Single handily 1 v 4 inside and got the best of it most of the time. Obviously he gassed but dude was ridiculous.

The role players sunk the team not those two.

How is Baylor gloating? It came a tweet from a sportswriter and took on a life of its own on social media. I don't see anything from the school gloating that we're starting from scratch.

Also Florida had some excellent shooters this is a very important trait if you can't shoot it trallys hurts your offensive production.
