Tulane nose tackle Adonis Friloux has committed to Baylor following his official visit last week. He became the first commitment in the spring transfer portal window.
TRANSFER PORTAL COMMITMENT LIST
The 6-foot-2, 325-pound prospect totaled 13 tackles, two for loss and an interception this past season for the Green Wave. Friloux posted a 70.1 overall defensive grade, a 66.9 run defense grade and a 67.5 pass rush grade per Pro Football Focus.
Although he’s expected to return well before the start of fall camp, Texas A&M transfer nose tackle Samu Taumanupepe (RSo.) missed almost all of the spring practices due to an injury, which made this more of a position of need in the spring transfer portal window.
In total, he has played 968 snaps over 37 college games in his career. He has 62 tackles, nine for loss, five sacks, 23 quarterback hurries and six pass breakups.
Out of Hahnville High School in Ama, Louisiana, he was a three-star prospect in the 2020 class who chose Tulane over Houston, Memphis and Ole Miss.
Friloux will have one year of eligibility remaining.
