Based on his highlights he seems to have good size, strength, and hands, but not top-end speed. Just based on a few highlights. That's why he has a few P4 offers only I would guess. Seems like he would fill the need but likely be more of a depth piece rather than a starter.

Connecticut Wide Receiver Jasaiah Gathings Set to Visit Baylor
Connecticut wide receiver Jasaiah Gathings will take an official visit to Baylor starting Monday night. The coaching staff is continuing its search for an outside wide receiver this transfer portal cycle.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound prospect posted 307 yards and three touchdowns this past season in Storrs.
As a redshirt sophomore at Akron, he had a breakout season. Gathings totaled 575 yards and a touchdown on 55 receptions.
He has played 515 total snaps at outside wide receiver during his career and has posted a career 60 overall offensive grade per Pro Football Focus.
The Statesville (NC) product was a consensus three-star prospect coming out of high school in the 2021 class.
He has one year of eligibility remaining.
