Blackout on the Brazos: Baylor Reveals Auburn Game Theme
WACO, Texas — Baylor football has revealed its 2025 Baylor football season opener vs. Auburn game theme as Blackout on the Brazos, the department announced today.
Blackout on the Brazos, a nod to the last year’s return of the anthracite jersey to the team apparel rotation and a 7 p.m. Friday night kick, reflects the excitement and anticipation for this way-too-early top-25 matchup on Aug. 29 at McLane Stadium.
This week one game will be the first time Baylor hosts a Southeastern Conference opponent as a Big 12 Conference member and first time the Bears are hosting Auburn in 50 years.
BLACKOUT BLITZ TICKET OPPORTUNITY
Fans can start preparing now by participating in the June 11-13 blackout ticket blitz, where single-game tickets will be available for the matchup for the first time for 48 hours only starting at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11. The tickets will be a set price for the duration of the ticket blitz, and fans will not have an opportunity to purchase single-game tickets again until the official ticket launch in late July where dynamic pricing will be in effect.
Additionally, fans who purchase tickets during this limited window will be entered into a random drawing for prizes such as upgraded seats, Baylor basketball suite tickets, autographed footballs from head coach Dave Aranda, gift cards to the Baylor Bookstore and blackout apparel items.

Fans can also get ready for the season opener by purchasing the exclusive Blackout on the Brazos shirt, available later on Monday, or other anthracite and black apparel through the Baylor Bookstore.

Mini plans and single-game tickets will be available in July.
RV single game parking for the Auburn game will be available later this summer while tailgating packages are available now.
