BAYLOR 2026 RECRUITING CLASS COMMITMENT LIST
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound prospect has totaled 87 tackles, 14.5 for loss and 7.5 sacks over the past two seasons.
The three-star recruit appears to be quite versatile, based on what I have seen on film and in a camp setting. He can be a really effective defensive tackle in the Bears' scheme and already has the size to be on the field sooner rather than later. If he can put on a lot more weight, then I could see him sliding into the nose tackle spot, but that would require significant growth. Right now, I see a defensive tackle with some extra versatility due to his size and technique.
He was offered just one month ago by Baylor defensive line coach Inoke Breckterfield and built a strong relationship with him and assistant athletics director for player relations Kaeron Johnson during this quick process.
Battle chose Baylor over offers from Arizona State, Kansas State, Houston, Rice and Texas State, among others.
He is a consensus three-star prospect and a composite top 10 prospect in the state of Oklahoma.
