Uncool dude. Don't mess with Smoak Jr or sr. They are forced to kiss butt a little but I like both of them and have their back.
"We are unaware of any situation where you personally had contact with anyone who directly reported to you being the victim of sexual assault or that you directly discouraged the victim of an alleged sexual assault from reporting to law enforcement or university officials. Nor are we aware of any situation where you played a student athlete who had been found responsible for sexual assault.”

Maybe he meant the ongoing drama of Baylor/football coaches and not necessarily Smoaky's show.

Pretty sure he meant bu football and not smoak

Rhule probably is worn out. He got pile driven off the top rope by big 12 football.

AAC it is not

And Never forget Liberty

He must be having a real coaching identity crisis, as he roles around on his bed covered in 100 dollar bills of OUR money
Everything is racist

Yes, the drama, not Smoaky's show. Only the drama.

I bet this season has aged CMR 5-7 years. No one predicted us to be this bad. I think he thought he would win at least 5-6 games. He is more disappointed than most of us I am sure. Has to be embarrassing.

Obama won big and thought he had a mandate to do everything he campaigned on. Then he got into office and realized Congress wasn't gonna work with him. He eventually came to the conclusion 'this is really hard.'

Maybe Rhule is at this point.

I would be very embarrassed too but the $100 bills in my bed (as someone else mentioned)--for the next 7 years, no less--would really assuage any embarrassment.

So his standard is losing by 65 points???

Did anyone else catch that?

Hard work only goes so far when your offensive and defensive coaching staffs have no clue. Yay special teams!!!!!

He's worn out from hauling all that money to the bank, not from coaching!

I'm tired of him hearing him talk about football.

One non-football thing I found curious, though, is he mentioned they do community service on Sunday morning. So...they can't go to church, or is it super early in the morning?

Who cares if they do community service or dont go to church or do go to church. You can still win and do all of those things.

I know we did community service as well during the Briles era, it just wasnt advertised like it is now.

Matt Rhule is not worn out; he never had what it takes from the beginning.

Are you sure? I was under the impression all we did was pillage the poor coeds of our dear university so that we could win football games.

That's what those who cried out believe.

I'm not saying I disagree with you, but shouldn't a guy we're told is such a committed Christian be committed to attending church? That's what I found odd, unless somehow the team is waking up really early the day after a game.

Smoaky, what would he be worn out from? Doing his job?

I don't know how the guy had the energy to coach at the start of the season. All that PR work he had to do before his team ever played a game would have exhausted me. He had to spend all Spring and Summer talking about the "culture of sexual assault." Now he will have to spend all of the next Spring and Summer talking about the "culture of losing." I feel for the guy. It's got to be hard to just be a coach under that stress.

$4 million dollars can buy you a ton of tums. He knew what he signed up for.... my grandfather use to tell me "either **** or get off the pot"...

Rhule needs to figure it out. Current staff and formula isn't working. Baylor Nation won't accept this too long.

Just glad we can field a team and compete - the NCAA has yet to put this to rest.

With the death penalty (something we'd never get) we have the same number of wins and a lot fewer losses...

You can generally attend a regular church service on Saturday evenings, probably 3 to 5 services on Sunday, and many churches have a Wednesday service.

Agreed. Surely he doesn't read this board, and I doubt he hears all of the negative opinions posted here in person. Losing sucks, and it can wear you down, but you have to "improvise, adapt, and overcome" according to my son

This is what he signed up for when he signed on the dotted line. Temple had already made him a millionaire, and he had "other options" as he so often says. No one put a gun to his head. However this lost season? That's on him. 5-7 with a chance to go bowling was the expectation(from me) if you look in preseason threads we have Milli talking about the Alamo bowl!!
