big athletic scoring guard
lets get him
Five-star guard Dylan Mingo will take an official visit to Baylor this weekend as head coach Scott Drew and the rest of the coaching staff look to become a big factor in his recruitment.
The trip to Waco will be his sixth official visit. Mingo has already been to UConn, Washington, Penn State, Alabama and Miami. His older brother, Kayden, signed with Penn State in the 2025 recruiting class.
The 6-foot-5 guard with a 6-foot-10 wingspan is a composite top-five prospect in the 2026 recruiting class and a consensus top-nine recruit according to all national sites.
He earned first-team all-circuit recognition at the 2025 Nike EYBL, averaging 20.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.8 steals per game. He flashed his playmaking off-ball screens, rebounding, defense and finishing ability in the paint, but only made 23% of his three-point attempts.
Mingo goes to Long Island (NY) Lutheran, which is the same high school former Baylor Bear and current Philadelphia 76er VJ Edgecombe attended.
Four-star wing Elijah Williams is the lone commit in the 2026 recruiting class so far.
