IRVING, Texas – Baylor junior midfielder Aryanna Jimison was named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after a six-point weekend that included a brace against Colorado and two assists against Iowa State during an undefeated stretch at Betty Lou Mays Field in Waco.

Jimison got a touch on a pair of goal-bound balls as the Bears earned a 3-0 win over Iowa State, assisting Callie Conrad in the 34th minute and Alysiah Lockette in the 72nd. Days later against Colorado, a receiving votes squad in the United Soccer Coaches poll, Jimison netted both of BU’s goals in a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

The award is Baylor's 70th total weekly soccer honor from the Big 12 and the 20th offensive-specific award since the category was added before the 2000 season.

Jimison was recognized as co-offensive player of the week alongside Taylor Zdrojewski of Texas Tech. The conference also honored Macy Blackburn of Texas Tech as defensive player of the week and Genesis Perez Watson of UCF as goalkeeper of the week. Becca Smith of Kansas earned freshman of the week honors.

Baylor closes its three-game homestand against BYU on Friday at 7 p.m. for Senior Night. Admission to Betty Lou Mays Field is free for all regular season matches.
