South Alabama offensive lineman Asher Hale has signed with Baylor following his official visit over the weekend. He becomes the third offensive lineman to commit this portal cycle, joining UAB’s Logan Moore and Texas‘ Nate Kibble.
The 6-foot-5, 305-pound prospect started all 11 games at right guard for the Jaguars this season. He didn’t allow a sack but posted a 48.8 offensive grade, a 66.7 pass block grade and a 46.6 run block grade according to Pro Football Focus.
South Alabama went 4-8 on the season, but was the fourth-best rushing offense in the Sun Belt at 208.63 yards per game. Hale was a mainstay at right guard on the offensive line that ran for 23 touchdowns on the season.
The Mobile, Alabama, native has played over 1,000 snaps over his two seasons at South Alabama and has two years of eligibility remaining.
