Wolfe City (TX) High School 2026 running back HD Davis has flipped his commitment from Kansas State to Baylor. He becomes the second running back commit in the class, joining four-star prospect Ryelan Morris. He is commit No. 14 overall.

Davis signed with Kansas State during the early signing window, right before it was announced that Chris Klieman was retiring from the head coach job. New head coach Collin Klein was announced as head coach on December 4th.
The 6-foot-0, 205-pound prospect totaled 2,789 yards and 33 touchdowns on 267 carries on his way to earning All-State honors and being named District Offensive MVP.
Over his three-year high school career, he has amassed 6,306 yards and 73 touchdowns on the ground, along with 439 yards and five touchdowns on 25 receptions.
The elite athlete boasts some pretty strong accolades outside of football with a 10.74 100m, a 38-0 shot put, a 37-2.5 triple jump, and a 560-pound squat max
He chose Baylor over offers from Kansas State, UTEP, Navy, Wofford, Yale, Cornell, Tulsa, Rice, Air Force and Wyoming.
Davis is a consensus three-star prospect.
