Postgame Podcast & Thoughts: No. 7 Houston 77, Baylor 64

Baylor (15-15, 5-12) falls short at No. 7 Houston (25-5, 13-4) despite a spirited effort. The Bears led 58-54 with eight minutes to play, but Houston used an 18-3 run to put the game away down the stretch. Tounde Yessoufou had 20 points and 12 rebounds in a losing effort for BU.

Good

• Baylor outrebounded the Cougars 37-31
• 17 assists is a great number
• Caden Powell (12 points, 6 rebounds) and Tounde Yessoufou (20 points, 12 rebounds) had above-average performances relative to their standard.  
• Baylor shot free throws well (10-12)

Disappointing

• 18 turnovers is a bad number, even against a trapping team at this point in the season.  
• Seemed to wilt when the game got physical at the end of the second half.  
• Gave up way too many straight-line drives at the rim.
