Baylor Christmas Wish List

December 24, 2017
14,014

With the passing of another year, SicEm365 looks forward to 2018 and creates a wish list for Baylor fans.

FOOTBALL

  • The team to have a healthy spring and fall
  • Chris Platt, RJ Sneed, Blake Blackmar, Gavin Holmes, Rob Saulin, Trevon Lewis, Pooh Stricklin, Abram Smith, Charlie Brewer, Xavier Jones, Clay Johnston, John Lovett, and Kyle Boyd to return to the field healthy (apologies if anyone was missed)
  • George DeLeone to return to the sideline healthy following hip surgery
  •  More Oklahoma Drills, there I said it, I like it, I want more
  • A bowl game where Baylor fans can travel to exotic places such as Memphis, Orlando, San Antonio, Ft Worth, Dallas, New Orleans, or Phoenix to cheer on the Bears
  • For the Big 12 to join up with the Bahamas Bowl and go there if not the Big 12 Champion
  • The offensive line to gel and have healthy and experienced bodies playing
  • Safeties to be ready for 2018 and show better tackling
  • For the final pieces of the 2018 class be added, like Tommy Bush, Cam Jones, and others

MEN'S BASKETBALL

  • Terry Maston to return from injury and be the Terry Maston we all want on both ends of the floor
  • Leonard Allen to overcome the personal issues he has dealt with
  • Scott Drew to get the new arena he deserves
  • Students to attend all the games and cheer on their classmates
  • Reach the Elite 8 again
  • Mark Vital rip the rim off the backboard at Phog Allen

LADY BEAR BASKETBALL

  • Kim Mulkey to make it to the Final Four
  • Toyelle Wilson to keep her shine on the sideline and Twitter (Follow Her)
  • Trinity Oliver to return from injury
  • Kim Mulkey to be enshrined in the Naismith Hall of Fame
  • Kim Mulkey get the new arena she deserves

BASEBALL

  • Steve Rodriguez to make it to the second weekend of NCAA play, then Omaha
  • Shea Langliers to skip the Sophomore Slump and win the Johnny Bench Award
  • For at least four arms to appear on the mound for quality middle and long relief
  • For one of the Marucci gloves to appear on my doorstep
  • For a new SicEm365 container to be installed behind right field complete with A/C and kegerator full of 3Nations ice cold drinks

SOFTBALL

  • Glenn Moore to wrestle the conference stranglehold away from Oklahoma
  • The team to break through and win the WCWS after coming close in 2017
  • Have the WCWS not be in Oklahoma during tornado season
  • For the new signees to be ready to contribute immediately in the circle

GOLF

  • Men, keep doing you
  • Ladies, keep doing you
  • Nothing more to say than win it all

VOLLEYBALL

  • Somehow replace the greatest athlete from Prestonwood Christian Academy and All-American Katie Staiger
  • Recruit more athletic height as this team is only missing in one area
  • Get past the second round and then the third and then...

TENNIS

  • Men to get healthy and return to dominance
  • Women to get healthy and return to dominance

TRACK AND FIELD

  • Women to go back-to-back in Big 12
  • Will London to continue to improve and be the next great quarter-miler

EQUESTRIAN

  • Win another National Championship
  • Allow Equestrian Tailgating?

SOCCER

  • For Coach Jobson to keep plugging away as the team is so close
  • Healthy returns to the injured goalies
  • Clones of Aline De Lima and Precious Akanyirige

ACROBATICS AND TUMBLING

  • What do you wish for the team that has it all?
  • No injuries and continued domination

Merry Christmas from SicEm365

You had me, until the "Oklahoma Drills" comment. Outdated opponent intimidation gimmick that truly adds nothing to team game preparation, and the coaches know it. I bet we'll see it go away by Year 3....if not next year.

Of course, you will have the decency not to mention we saw each other at an equestrian tailgate.

I don't think I've ever heard of Memphis being described as an "exotic" place......
