Mulkey was definitely upset with her after her entry pass to Kalani resulted in a turnover.

Okay.

She didn't get enough minutes to make a difference.

Good thing we had a 32 point lead before we decided we didn't want to play real basketball anymore. It's ridiculous to play so sloppy that you give up 13 straight points. If we'd been only up 20 at the end of the third quarter we'd be in real deep trouble right now.

This will give Mulkey something about which to vent during the post game interview.

Obviously. But that does not excuse playing that sloppy for a full quarter at the end. With this team's talent, giving up 23 points in one quarter is ridiculous. And Kim obviously felt the same way in her interview after the game.

No doubt Moon, a freshman, will have a nice weekend.

You really need to take your tired act back to the UT boards where you should feel most welcome. Most of those on this board should remember you from the Baylor fans boards as being an unbelievable UT troll who never has anything but negative words to say about Baylor.

Yes, Kim did point out Ursin as she should have. But she certainly didn't throw her under the bus. That's just your way of trying to make things sound a lot worse than they are. Kim made the point that she loved Ursin to death and wanted nothing more than to see her have success when she had her minutes on the court. She's just a little bit of a deer in the headlights right now but that will pass...

Mulder used to be a died in the wool UT fan who acted like Baylor was his second favorite team. But he constantly yapped about how much better UT was even when they were losing to eerbody. Now he acts like he's a converted BU fan. But the real Mulder just can't always keep himself disguised.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I want Ursin to get minutes and do well, but she is in a difficult position in this lineup and I think that she presses too hard and cannot relax and do the things that are within her capacity. The first year is typically harder than both Morris and Richards are making it appear to be, but in different ways they are both very special talents.

I think that Ursin will benefit from a Spring/Summer/Fall of work as much as any player we have had, and if she does not it will surprise me. I think that I disappointed some people on this board when I suggested, based upon watching two or three of her games, that she might not be ready for Division I basketball as a frosh, despite her exceptional athleticism. I said the same thing about Landrum after her senior year at LaVega.

It is a huge leap from high school ball to the level of play in the Big 12, and Chou and Cox found that out last year. The improvement of all three of those frosh from last year to this year has been remarkable, and it has been as much or more a mental progression as it has one of skill. I have watched three of the games our top rated player, Aquira DeCosta has played this year, and I will see another two or three before I make an assessment for the board, but I can say without equivocation that she is in for a shock to her system when she undergoes her first week or two of Mulkey directed workouts. She will have a summer and early Fall informal set of workouts with her new teammates that will help, but that will not be too different from what she already knows. The formal introduction to Division I basketball begins her first day of organized practice, and of that she knows nothing at this point.
