Kim just said disciplinary reasons kept Morris and Richards out. Why punish the whole team when you've only five other players now? I'd run them until they're sick or make them study every waking hour before holding them out of a game in this situation.

CKM fighting back tears when Brenda V mentioned Kristy. And then our coach talked about this team rising to the challenge. Thank God for that woman and all she means to Baylor.

If anything, I hope the Wallace injury is similar to Jimmy Butler, he avoided the acl tear and I think he's only going to be out like 4-6 weeks. I pray it's either that or not serious at all..
Well 4 to 6 weeks would be a Baylor career ender for Wallace so don't want that at all. Give me the "not serious at all" option instead.

Wallace in obvious pain but is walking without help!

How? We still have the entire Big 12 tourney and the NCAA tourney? Is that all less than 4-6 weeks? If so, damn

Because their actions affect the whole team. That's the lesson here.

Any chance Kim benched them for the first half only?

4 weeks is doable- 6 weeks means she is done.

Several thoughts:

Often players can walk after an ACL. Remember Shawn Bell went back in for a couple of plays after A&M hit him out of bounds and tore his in 2006.

If you notice as KW falls, her right foot hits the foot of the WV player. Either something bad had already happened and that's why she was headed down, or the foot to foot contact somehow jammed her knee.

Damn...I just hope it's nothing serious then. The way she got up and hopped off gave me a little hope.

We don't strictly need Kristy until the sweet sixteen, so she has about 25 days to recover. I want to be optimistic but that didn't look good.

You have it backwards. If the battle were more important she would have played them in the 1st half.

The war is won with discipline.

Seriously this game wasnt that important. Kristy has got to pick and choose her battles. I know she is all out but this is the worst thing to happen to this team. After 4 straight elite eights this team has everything to get to FF but only with Wallace. Just gotta hope for a quick rehab if a hyperextension, but its over if an ACL. Looked like RG3 going down against UCONN in 2010. Just pray.
