Senior WR Chris Platt back with team after ACL tear

Wide receiver Christ Platt was well on his way to a 1,000-yard receiving season in 2017 before a freak injury against Oklahoma sidelined him for the remainder of the season. Now multiple months removed from ACL surgery, Platt has returned to offseason workouts with his teammates.

The return of Platt comes a little less two weeks prior to the start of Baylor's spring practice on March 15. Though Platt likely hasn't been cleared for full contact at this time, his presence with the team through the offseason grind will pay dividends.

In four games as a junior, Platt caught 16 passes for 401 yards and 5 touchdowns, giving him 62 receptions for 1,123 yards and 10 touchdowns in his career.

Chris has so much potential. I'm hoping he is able to recover fully before the first game. If he gets back to where he was our opponents will not be happy.

Sic'Em Chris!

Mims, Pratt, and Hurd starting at wide outs should give Brewer some impressive stats.

I'm hoping he comes out on fire his senior season like Tevin Reese did, but stays healthy throughout the year.

Lets get Platt at least 1000 yards receiving this year, and Mims at least 1500.

It's all about the OL.
