We heard the last 5 minutes driving home from church. When we scored with 5 seconds left, I said to my wife, "There's too much time left."

Glad to see usual suspects in Kansas.

Can't help but think that if we'd made half of the bunnies it felt like we missed in the first two quarters that we would not have had to sweat the end of the game so much. Just cold shooting from point blank range and it seemed it would never stop. We finally heated up but never should have gotten down by as much as we did. I miss having cold blooded scorers at the guard position.

I seriously had forgotten this game was on. Worked night shift last night and when woke up around 11:30 - turned on other stuff on TV. NCAA has made me forget completely about joke NIT. I still generally remember when BU plays, but oh well. Looks like I missed an infuriating game. Only reason I found out game was over, was because friend texted me about losing and how we blew it.

Seriously starting to get worried that we are going to be surpassed as a bball program in this state by TCU, Tech, Aggie and UH. Drew HAS to get better talent.

Just noticed this... did we really only have 3 fouls at the end? If so, we had a foul to give. ***?!?

As do I. But, I'd bet you it is.

Scott Drew just may be the happiest person that this season is over.

It's true. Jake had one foul and Nuni two. That's it for the 4th. Coming off a timeout too... man oh man.

I would say that I am stunned that our coaches did not know this, but I am not...

Yep. And a timeout left. Could have called a timeout. AND could have fouled.

Could have waited until there was only 2 seconds left to shoot. Hard to blame them getting points though. Just terrible game management at the end. But MSU shot 54%. 60% from deep! People just don't want to believe the zone defense is a problem. It's a huge problem. It's a gimmick defense. Been hearing that all week during the NCAA tourney. Time for Drew to man up and start teaching guys how to play real freakin man defense.

The team was completely disinterested the first half today, and frankly looked out of it most of the late regular season. Don't get me wrong, the season was a success considering what Drew had to work with and where the team was in January, but the problems were too much to overcome.

Looking forward to next season, and full confidence in Coach Drew.

both were huge mistakes.... very disappointing

still took MSU shooting double their normal percentage from 3 for the game and an unbelievably lucky bounce.

probably a fitting finish for a disappointing year. Thanks to Joe, Nuni, LeComte, and Maston for their commitment to Baylor during their time in Waco.

we need to be much better next year.

Because the zone defense gives teams open looks from 3. I can handle watching a kid drain a 3 if he's guarded but not a wide open look. Drew even switched to man because he was getting killed. They did a great job coming back but that defense was a pile of you know what.

31% for the year at the college line

60% for today's game from the International line

and while they had a few (too many) wide open looks they had many more where they just made shots over us. The entire idea of the zone is to force them into shooting from distance and MSU should hate that.... and yet they didn't. There is no escaping the vagaries of sport

Didn't we also leave a TO on the table at the end. I couldn't believe my eyes when we scored and then no one wants to play defense. It's as if we made the buzzer beater. Nobody picked up the ball in the back court. The dude had a free pass to about the 30' line and then we left a shooter almost wide open. When the ball hit the rim I could not believe it bounced STRAIGHT UP and dropped in,
But this team did not deserve to win because they didn't show up at 11am. I guess they thought the game was at noon.
