Baylor signed a premier athlete in Darius Allen a 6-4 guard who is a model 3 and d player.  He averaged 14 ppg as a sophomore at Palm Beach State CC.  He shot 49% from the field; 36% from 3 and 70% from the foul line.  He gathered 5 rebounds and 2 steals per contest.  He held offers from West Virginia, Wichita State, Iowa State, Ole Miss, South Florida and Gozaga in addition to Baylor.
