Cmr sure knows how to read and articulate positions, playing styles and schemes. Sounds like he really respects what ou has and wants bu to be a better "complete team" than ou someday. Hope he gets his wish.

Yet i cannot help but wish the goal was to freaking score as much as possible rather than control the clock with TOP. Perhaps he wsnts that now while we have youth. Seems like he is really looking to the future when players are bigger stonger older etc.

He's wanting the "perfect" scenario. Besides ideally that's what you want you want to control the ball, score, and keep one of the most dynamic offenses in the nation on the sidelines.

Gotta have 4 and 5 star lines for that...and a Kaz Kazadi level S&T staff.

We don't get that until we win, maybe.

Are you saying that's why Army was just so unsuccessful keeping them off the field?...

I'm saying to keep teams like OU on the sidelines under 28 points consistently is going to require it for sure, or at least building talent to that level.
