Ten Things: Baylor at West Virginia

Baylor travelled to West Virginia for a Thursday night showdown October 25. Here are the ten things I noticed during the game.

  1. One day Baylor will cover a wheel route 
  2. Denzel Mims and Chris Platt need stickum and Jalen Hurd needs to go get the ball
  3. The offense did the defense no favors in the first quarter 
  4. James Lynch‍ is the best Baylor DL since Santana Dotson 
  5. Charlie Brewer‍ with 3 interceptions in the first half
  6. Running laterally is not JaMycal Hasty‍'s game. North South 
  7. Jalan McClendon‍ settled the team down, but inserted much too late
  8. At one point, Jordan Williams‍ had more penalties than tackles
  9. Burn the film, burn the uniforms and hope nobody turns an ankle in the tarmac 
  10. Bring on Homecoming and threads about Pigskin

I agree that Tech is gonna beat us badly but I don't know if Rhule is going anywhere.

I won't be surprised if OSU beats us badly as well.

I like Lynch a lot, but c'mon man. Billings > Lynch

Number 11 should be . . .

Little Matty should be fired immediately. He has proven he cannot coach at Baylor University. The program will not improve under his direction and will continue to spiral downward.

We've seen this happen before. This looks like the Kevin Steele show all over again. It will take years to recover from Rhule unless the regents pull the plug and stop the bleeding. Continuing even one more day does nothing but prolong the agony.

Baylor made a mistake hiring this guy. He needs to go now before he damages the program is damaged further.
