MBB: SFA Recap and Quick Oregon Preview

Baylor gets upset on a buzzer beater versus SFA 59-58.  It was Baylor’s second home loss of the season.  The Bears move to 6-4 on the season and prepare for a talented Oregon team Friday night at 6pm CST at the Ferrell Center in Waco.  

Positives

• No one got injured
• Tristan Clark was productive around the rim
• The Bears gathered 14 steals on the night

Needs Improvement

• Energy and focus at home.  Baylor needs to be a lot more focused to beat teams they should beat.  
• Clean up the turnovers.  Now averaging 14 per game versus only 12 assists per game.  
• 3 point shooting.  The Bears are currently 325 in KenPom three point accuracy.  Of the power 5 teams only Texas A&M is worse.  
• Free throw shooting.  Only 3 guys on the roster over 70%- Makai Mason, Jared Butler and Devonte Bandoo.  
• Spacing and decision making.
