Dang, did we have fans there? Lolol The tv camera just thought Oregon was there
Keep in mind that 3 of the 4 teams playing in Tampa have GREEN as a primary school color!
Yes I noticed that too. And yesterday, they were both green & gold! It was the same in December when the Ducks came to Waco to play MBB.

I heard the Baylor fans more than I saw them. But I was not paying much attention to the fans--except when the camera focused on the families of players.

I'd like to take a moment and congratulate six people who deserve a lot of credit for where this team is toady - and that is the parents of Kalani Brown, Lauren Cox, and Chloe Jackson. In reality EVERY single parent who has driven one of these girls to practice, played hoops with them in the driveway, taken off work to make sure they got to a Friday evening game at an AAU tournament and welcomed Coach Mulkey and her staff into their home for an in-home visit deserve a HUGE congrats from all the fans - this game and run has been just as much a result of their dedication and long nights as anything else.
So true! I just hope the players all appreciated what their families sacrificed to help them get where they are today. No doubt the more mature among them did.

Oregon went 12-32 from three. We were 0-3. A lot of other fans thought our lack of three point shooting would hurt us but we just don't need it. Not when we shoot 57% from inside the arc. Theee-pointers certainly kept it close for Oregon but not close enough. They only shot 36% from inside the arc which didn't help either. We're good at what works for us.
Which is exactly what Mulkey said. That's her coaching style and it makes sense. It seems almost obvious: coach to the players' strengths. I think we had a football coach recently who did that with great success. (Cue the trolls & BOR members or robe-sniffers/boot-lickers).

I also noticed some predictions on the first page of this thread that were accurate: slimecap linked an article by Chad Corine in which his final score prediction was off by only 2 for each team and eball said we would win if we could hold them to 10 3s and would lose if they got 13 or more. They had 12 and we squeaked by without scoring any!

My apologies. Maybe statman came close in predicting the score. Kudos for your accurate statement.
