No. 7 Men's Tennis Hosts No. 17 Oklahoma for Hounds at the Hurd
WACO, Texas – No. 7 Baylor men’s tennis (18-3, 1-1 Big 12) will continue Big 12 play with a top-20 matchup against No. 17 Oklahoma (14-5, 1-0 Big 12) Friday night at 6 p.m. at the Hurd Tennis Center.
Friday's match will be the first "Hounds at the Hurd" event where fans are encouraged to bring their dogs. Free dog toy and old Baylor tennis balls will be given away while supplies last.

The Bears will play their 14th ranked foe of the season and are facing their sixth ranked opponent in a row. Baylor will look to add to its perfect 11-0 home record this season and an impressive 27-1 mark in the last 28 home matches.
Baylor comes into the match with four ranked singles players in No. 28 Johannes Schretter, No. 45 Matias Soto, No. 82 Will Little and No. 105 Sven Lah along with the top-ranked doubles tandem in the country in Lah and Jimmy Bendeck.
Meanwhile, the Sooners have three ranked singles players in No. 33 Spencer Papa, No. 57 Jake Van Emburgh and No. 59 Alexander Bakshi. Papa and Van Emburgh combine to be the No. 60-ranked doubles team in the latest ITA rankings.
OU leads the all-time series, 26-21, and BU is 3-12 in its last 15 matches against the Sooners dating back to 2011. Last season, the Bears opened the conference schedule in Norman, Okla. and captured the doubles point before falling 4-2. Will Little captured the lone singles point.
Baylor Athletics is also hosting a women’s basketball watch party with the NCAA Final Four matchup on a giant TV screen in the grassy area outside Baylor Ballpark. Fans are encouraged to bring their own food and trimmings to cheer on the Bears and Lady Bears.
