Watch: 1:43 to prove ISU fans have more hate for Baylor than TCU fans

A quick Twitter search will reveal a lot including the fact that Iowa State fans have an ever-growing hate for Baylor. At this point the hate compares what comes from mutually hated in-state rival TCU. Are Baylor fans ever going to return the favor?

It's bizarre. And it's been going on for a long time now. They don't really have a rival in the Big 12, so maybe they're trying to manufacture one, who knows

I realize it is Twitter and those posting are probably the lowest of the low, but really hope we play well and beat them. Those Twitter tears will be sweet.

Guess they don't remember their player with his knees pinning our player to the ground. That was real classy.

Yep. Wait a month or two for the recurring "Hate on Baylor" thread over there.

Everyone wants a target. Unfortunately, that scandal automatically dismisses every Baylor voice that tries to defend itself. So, just get used to being hated forever. There is absolutely nothing that any one of us can do to fix that mindset until the next program around the nation becomes the favorite dead horse to beat.

So let's build a thick skin and simply do our best to be good examples as fans.

Easily obscured by Greg Roberts' smack over a ref. And then Charlie's ejection from griping to the ref.

Let's get real here--BU surrendered any moral high ground in last year's game for sure.

Plus, the guy kneed him because he was held by our DB. Not justified, but not like it came out of nowhere.

Our guys need to exercise far more discipline.

Big XII football championships: Baylor 2, Iowa State 0. Total conference regular season and tournament titles in all sports: Baylor by a country mile over Iowa State. Baylor has done more for the Big XII than Iowa State ever will.

I have no idea where that stuff comes from. I never really gave ISU a second thought. I mostly root for them against other teams because they have been such a doormat in football through the decades.

They broke our QBs neck and risked his football career. What did Baylor do to them, other than beat them like every other team was doing?

Fans gonna fan, I guess.

Look at the meme at 0:28. Rhule is trying to make eye contact with Matt Jr. and Matt Jr. is totally avoiding eye contact. This is after ISU won. Matty Jr. must feel guilty about paying the ref$. Other observations of the meme: the only player doing something illegal (and mind you, COMPLETELY illegal) is Hakeem Butler digging his knees into Blake Lynch's neck. The meme poster appears like he is trying to make BU defending a pass seem illegal. What a weirdo. Hope we kick their arses all the way back to corn country!

After looking through the "Baylor Hate Week" thread on their board vs. ours, it's very much a UT/OU/A&M situation. For years A&M thought of UT as their big rival. UT largely dismissed A&M (especially towards the end of their Big 12 days) and considered OU their true rival. Ironically A&M is caught in the same situation now with LSU and Bama in the SEC.

I'm not saying we're ISU's biggest rival (that "honor" goes to Iowa) but they care way more about us than we do about them. It's pretty funny. Living rent free in their heads all year long.

Rhule sure seems to have been snubbed or disrespected a lot by other coaches in traditional greetings. That's at least three different coaches doing things like that. Do they not like the gift packages he sends them?
