BREAKING: Baylor lands four-star 2020 DE James Sylvester out of Newton

On Monday night, 2020 four star defensive end out of Newton high school James Sylvester‍ committed to Baylor. He becomes the 14th member of the Bears 2020 class.

BAYLOR 2020 RECRUITING CLASS

He recently decommitted from TCU after being committed for a while. The Bears were able to flip him after the talented defensive end visited Waco over the weekend for the victory over Texas.

Sylvester has offers from Alabama, TCU, Florida State, LSU, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Georgia among many others.

You know we got a good one that rubs TCU wrong because on KF they are basically doing the aggy thing of "Well, he's gonna suck!" "He'll never be good at Baylor!" Typical. Can't wait to beat those clowns again next year in McLane.

In the 1 on 1 interview with Smoak CMR said there were 15 four and five star recruits at the Texas game. I reckon he was one of them.

6'4" 230 lbs.

Newton is a good school to make a pipeline too. They are a powerhouse in 3A and have been for a very long time. A lot of good athletes come through that school.
