WACO, Texas — The charter bus pulled into the Ferrell Center parking just past 1 a.m. Tuesday, about three hours after a 52-45 victory at Texas.

Weary from a 100-mile drive, the top-ranked Baylor Bears filed down the steps, grabbed their bags from the luggage compartment and headed for their apartments—and more importantly, their beds.

Chances are good the Bears had a peaceful slumber.
