Newest Baylor pledge Sam Carrell talks about recruitment

Baylor offered Sandia (NM) High School defensive end Sam Carrell‍ last night and he committed moments later. Carrell becomes the Bears seventh committment in the 2021 class and the first on the defensive line. The 6-4, 254-pounder defensive lineman recorded 51 tackles, 16 tackles for loss and six sacks as a junior last fall. He also played tight end but was mostly used as a blocker.
